Seven armed robbers allegedly hijacked a truck carrying edible oil worth around Rs. 2 crore on the M9 Motorway near Commander City within Nooriabad police limits. According to the FIR, the truck was transporting cooking oil from Karachi port to Sialkot when the suspects, travelling in a double-cabin vehicle, intercepted it and tied up the driver and cleaner before abandoning them miles away. Police have launched an investigation into the incident after the transport company reported the major highway robbery.
