The Collectorate of Customs Enforcement Islamabad has confiscated 10 smuggled vehicles and contraband goods worth more than Rs. 113.5 million during intelligence-driven operations carried out since July 10, 2026.
According to available reports, the seized vehicles include several imported models such as Toyota Camry, Land Cruiser, Prado, Prius, Wish, Passo, Suzuki Alto, and Volkswagen.
Along with the vehicles, customs officials also recovered various smuggled goods, including foreign-brand cigarettes, tyres, cloth, dry figs, and other illegal items.
Authorities stated that these operations disrupted organized smuggling networks and were part of an ongoing campaign against illegal trade activities.
The Collectorate of Customs Enforcement Islamabad said enforcement efforts will continue in coordination with federal and provincial law enforcement agencies to control smuggling, protect domestic industries, improve government revenue collection, and support Pakistan’s economy.
Smuggling remains a major challenge for economies as it affects legitimate businesses, reduces tax collection, and creates unfair market competition.
