FIA and PSO Dismantle Alleged Diesel Theft Network Near Sihala

The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), working alongside Pakistan State Oil (PSO), has dismantled an alleged diesel theft network operating near Sihala, arresting two suspects during a coordinated raid.

According to publicly available reports, investigators discovered an illegal underground pipeline that was allegedly connected to the PSO–Attock Refinery Limited (ARL) main fuel pipeline.

Illegal Pipeline Allegedly Used to Steal Diesel

Officials stated that the suspects had installed a concealed underground connection to siphon diesel directly from the main pipeline.

Authorities estimate that approximately 20,000 litres of diesel were being diverted each day and sold on the black market. The alleged operation is believed to have continued for five to six months, causing financial losses estimated at over Rs. 100 million.
