Lahore Traffic Police Arrest Motorcyclist Over Rs2 Million in Unpaid E-Challans

Lahore Traffic Police have arrested a motorcyclist after authorities discovered more than Rs2.08 million in unpaid e-challans linked to his name during a routine traffic enforcement operation.

According to traffic officials, the suspect was stopped during regular checking when his record revealed a large number of outstanding traffic fines. Further investigation reportedly uncovered that as many as 421 vehicles, including motorcycles, rickshaws, and other vehicles, were registered under his name.

Following the operation, the motorcycle was impounded, while all vehicles associated with the individual were reportedly blacklisted as part of legal and administrative action.

Traffic authorities stated that the arrest is part of an ongoing campaign against e-challan defaulters in Lahore. Officials have been intensifying enforcement efforts to improve compliance with traffic laws and encourage motorists to clear outstanding fines.
