A rare 400-year-old German translation of the Holy Quran has gone on display at the Holy Quran Museum in the Hira Cultural District in Makkah. The historic manuscript, printed in 1623 in the German city of Nuremberg, is considered one of the earliest German translations of the Quran.

The rare copy is part of the collection of the King Fahd National Library and has been showcased to highlight the historical efforts made to translate the Quran into different languages for non-Arabic speakers. Officials say the exhibition reflects the deep historical interest of European scholars in Quranic studies and Islamic heritage.

The Holy Quran Museum aims to provide visitors with an immersive cultural and educational experience by displaying valuable Quranic manuscripts and historical treasures connected to Islamic civilization.
