Pakistan marked a historic moment by hosting its first-ever open water Olympic triathlon, the Activit Margalla Triathlon 2026, at Gulberg Greens Lake Front in Islamabad. Organized by Margalla Trail Runners and powered by Activit, the event brought together hundreds of athletes competing in swimming, cycling, and running categories. Evgenii Yusyuk won the Olympic Solo category, while Shahrez Khan and Saltanat Simbina topped the Sprint divisions. The 5km Fun Run also saw strong performances from ldrees Sheen and Enub Khan. The event celebrated endurance sports, community spirit, and was dedicated to Pakistan's soldiers in tribute to their bravery.
